How we approach accessibility, and how to tell us when we fall short.
1. Our commitment
We want Honey Circle to be usable by as many people as possible and we work towards conformance with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Accessibility is treated as an ongoing effort, reviewed as the product changes.
2. Measures in place
- Semantic HTML structure with a single main heading per page.
- Keyboard navigation for interactive controls, with visible focus styles.
- Text alternatives for meaningful images and icon-only buttons.
- Colour contrast checked against AA thresholds for body text and controls.
- Responsive layouts that support zoom and small screens without loss of content.
- Forms with associated labels and clear, plain-language error messages.
- Reduced-motion preferences respected for decorative animation.
3. Known limitations
- Embedded third-party video players follow the accessibility of the source platform, which we do not control.
- AI-generated recipe text may vary in structure and can occasionally read awkwardly with screen readers.
- Some dense data views are easier to use on larger screens.
4. Report a barrier
If something is hard or impossible to use, email support@myhoneycircle.com with the page, the device and assistive technology you use, and what happened. We aim to respond within 1 business day and to offer an accessible alternative while we work on a fix.
